Brooklyn Lacrosse Club is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in Brooklyn. The club believes lacrosse should be accessible to all children, regardless of barriers such as cost, perception, or logistics. Through beginner programs, youth teams, and player development, BLC emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, respect, and a strong connection to Brooklyn. The organization also uses innovative training methods and community outreach to bring the sport to neighborhoods that may not have had access before. Founded in 2012 by former Brooklyn Crescents coaches Joe Nocella and Khalid West, the club continues to expand opportunities for boys and girls from Pre-K through 12th grade.
