Fern Creek Optimist Club (FCO Sports) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization serving Fern Creek and surrounding Louisville communities since 1953. We provide year-round youth sports leagues and community events focused on fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic encouragement. FCO runs Jr. NBA Basketball, NFL Flag Football, and Recreational Soccer (among other community programs) and hosts events at our 30-acre Sports Complex (8925 Smith Lane). Each year the club awards college scholarships to outstanding seniors who have given back as players, referees, or coaches.
