Content Creation Lab
Content Creation Lab is a hands-on digital media program where students learn how to turn ideas into engaging visual stories. Students explore storytelling, visual hooks, camera techniques, lighting, A-roll and B-roll, cinematic filming, sound, editing, emotion, and content strategy while creating their own projects. The curriculum follows a rotating six-week format, allowing students to join throughout the year while continuing to build their skills through increasingly advanced projects. Students learn by creating: planning ideas, filming on location, working individually and collaboratively, reviewing their work, and developing finished content for their creative portfolio. Tuesdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Frederick Street Park, Santa Cruz. Ages 9–14. $1,170 per student for a 3-month term from each student's start date. Rolling enrollment; first class Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Maximum 10 students. Families paying with an approved charter school purchase order (including Ocean Grove) should contact SC Parkour before registering online. We enroll the student after the purchase order is received.
